The Baptism of Jesus at the Jordan
Birth to a new life in the Holy Spirit
Mt 3, 13-17   Lk 3, 21-22

It happened in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized in the Jordan by John. On coming up out of the water he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit, like a dove, descending upon him. And a voice came from the heavens, "You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased."


(Mk 1, 9-11)

Our Father, 10 Hail Marys (meditating the mystery), and Glory be to the Father.

"O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy."
